    Spore PC-Only At Launch

    According to Spore publisher EA the game will be coming out exclusively on the PC and there are no confirmed versions for consoles or handhelds.

    Spore In Late 2007

    Spore creator Will Wright is now saying in interviews that he expects the game to be released in the latter part of 2007. Let’s hope it’s worth the wait.

    Handheld Spore

    See Pocketgamer.co.uk for an article that describes plans to put versions of Spore on all the popular handheld gaming systems. The headline is a bit misleading since plans to make mobile versions aren’t quite the same as a confirmation of releases for each platform, but it should be good news to mobile gamers.

    Custom Figurines of Spore Creations

    A story on Joystiq shows a demo of a custom-made figurine based on a design created by the recipient in the creature editor. Most interestingly, other sources indicate that this will be an in-game feature and you’ll be able to order figurines of your own Spore creations.
