Spore creator Will Wright is now saying in interviews that he expects the game to be released in the latter part of 2007. Let’s hope it’s worth the wait.

The headline is a bit misleading since plans to make mobile versions aren’t quite the same as a confirmation of releases for each platform, but it should be good news to mobile gamers.
